Dr. Andy Hoang, DDS

Dr. Andy Hoang is a native of California and has been providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages for over 20 years. He earned his Doctors Degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2000, where he graduated with honors and  have since pursued advanced training in a variety of dental specialties, including orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. He conducted further training in dental implants from the well-known Misch International Implant Institute in 2003 . Dr. Hoang also received extensive training in dental implants at the California Academy of Implant Dentistry, and served on the Advisory Board of the San Diego Implant Study Club. Dr. Hoang graduated from Progressive Orthodontics in 2005, and is certified Invisalign provider.  He received his certification in the use of Dental Lasers and became a LANAP provider in 2018.  Dr. Hoang is also a member of the San Diego Cerec Study Club, an  active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and served on the peer review committee for the California Dental Association. 

Dr. Hoang is committed to providing the highest quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. He is experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. He takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients based on trust and mutual respect. He believes in educating his patients about their oral health and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment. His gentle approach and compassionate demeanor have earned him a loyal following of patients who appreciate his personalized care. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Hoang enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of California and enjoying all that the community has to offer. He believes that if you are going to pay a lot of taxes to live in  California, you better take advantage of it. He enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, hiking, surfing, golfing, and snowboarding when weather permits. He also enjoys deep sea fishing, and is a big fan of the San Diego Chargers.

Dr. Robert Carrera

General Dentist

Dr. Robert Carrera is a local graduate of University of California, San Diego.  He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco, where he was recognized for his academic excellence and commitment to patient care.

Dr. Carrera is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He is well-versed in all aspects of general dentistry, including preventative care, restorative procedures, endodontic procedures, implants and cosmetic treatments. Dr. Carrera has a particular interest in helping her patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles through the use of modern techniques and technologies. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Carrera is committed to continuing education and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental research and technology. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Diego Dental Study Club. 

Dr. Carrera believes in building strong relationships with his patients based on trust, respect, and open communication. He takes the time to listen to his patients' concerns and answer their questions, ensuring that they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment. 

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Carrera enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, baseball, and traveling. He is also also actively involved in her local community and volunteers his time and expertise to several charitable organizations.
